Why is it that when you take damage you stop moving completely either way great game.

Green boss seems to thrive on lag-induced fake hits (and using this to force the player into being hit the moment the paralysis/invulnerability wears off, making it effectively an instant game-over).

just tried on a different, faster PC. 

webconsole reports that the game is saving each and every frame, which (due to taking more than one frame) is simply killing performance. (there are currently 300 saves being performed at once on average)
